Homelessness isn’t always a lifetime story. Sometimes it’s a car repair someone couldn’t afford. A medical bill. A job lost.

Haven of Hope is a local faith-based non-profit with the goal of restoring dignity, stability, and hope to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. With the help of volunteers, Haven of Hope meets people where they are and helps them take the next step forward.

Volunteers can contribute in a multitude of ways such as helping check in guests, cleaning, handing out meals, or helping guests find a bed. Being open daily, there is sure to be a perfect time for you. Sponsoring a meal is also a great way to get involved. If volunteering in person is not the right fit, please consider donating financially. Your donation turns into real nights indoors for a real person in our community. Resource donations are also appreciated.

Haven of Hope is located at 301 Steep Street in Richmond, and is open nightly for dinner and shelter. The current hours of operation are 6pm to 8pm daily. A long-term goal Haven of Hope aims to reach is to have multiple locations across the county, but they cannot do that without help or resources.
